May Events
First of all, our May Meeting is next Tuesday, May 12. Mark this on your calendars and plan to attend!! Remember, dinner is 100% Free for all Coatings Chemists, (who work for a Paint Manufacturer). Our scheduled speaker from Cytec will not be speaking but will be giving the UV presentation at our June meeting. I’m sure that the replacement speaker will present a great topic. Reservations are due by Friday May 8th to Ronald Obie at WCRGs@aol.com

Officers for the 2009 / 2010 Year will be nominated at our meeting on Tuesday. If anyone is interested in serving, please let me or another officer know prior to the business meeting.

Next Friday, May 15 is our Spring Golf Outing. It is being held at the Rock Barn Golf & Spa in Conover, NC. Plan to attend this event, as well. Contact Ed West for details and to schedule your Foursome.

Now for a Report on our April Technical Symposium.
Our April Technical Symposium and Mini-Tradeshow was a huge success!! Over 115 people registered for the event. Several more “by passed” the Registration Table and went directly into the Meetings.

All Technical Papers were well presented and very well received.

A special “Thank You” goes out to everyone who volunteered to make this Event a Success. And to, Scott Van ReMortel, who planned the event and coordinated the speakers.

June Meeting

Our last meeting of the Program Year is on Tuesday, June 9. This is our Annual Past Presidents Night. A special invitation will be going out to all Past Presidents.

We will also be electing officers in June. Please plant to attend this special meeting.
